For Petitioner : Mr.K.P.Anantha Krishna For Respondent : Mr.C.Emalias, APP ORDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.43 of 2015, pending on his file.
2. The case of the petitioner is that as against one Ponnurangam and others, he has lodged a complaint and the same was registered as FIR in Crime No.43 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 and 506(i) IPC, pursuant to the direction of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.24693 of 2015. Though the complaint was registered on 23.11.2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.43 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
