Contempt Petition No.2703 of 2016 in Crl.O.P.No.4109 of 2016 Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 70/71 to punish the respondent for willfully and deliberately disobeying the orders of this Court dated 02.03.2016 in Crl.O.P.No.4109 of 2016.
For Petitioner : Mr.R.Thamaraiselvan For Respondents : Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, Spl GP ORDER This Court by an order dated 02.03.2016 in Crl.O.P.No.4109 of 2016, directed the respondent-Police to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any congnisable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered. Now, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner, alleging non-compliance of the order dated 02.03.2016 passed by this Court.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader that the order passed by this Court has been complied with by the respondent.
3. Recording the submission made on either side, the present contempt petition is closed.
