JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner claims to be the owner of the land situated in Survey No.33/15 measuring 0.14 cents in Memalur Village, Thirukoilur Taluk, Villupuram District. According to the petitioner, his predecessor in title were in possession and enjoyment of the said property and such possession is being continued by him. On the basis of such ownership, the petitioner executed a settlement deed dated 14.03.2011 in favour of his wife and it was also registered on the file of the third respondent. According to the petitioner, the fifth respondent, who has no right, title or interest in the property belonged to him, has executed forged and fabricated documents and on the strength of the same he has eexecuted a sale deed in favour of the sixth respondent which was registered as document No.227 of 2012. In this context, the petitioner has given a complaint to the second respondent and based on the same, an enquiry was conducted. On 04.01.2016, the petitioner participated in the enquiry and produced all the documents to prove his claim. On 07.12.2016, the second respondent also called upon the fourth respondent to produce the records for consideration. Thereafter, the second respondent did not proceed further with the enquiry and therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 24.12.2016. However, so far, the second respondent did not conclude the enquiry conducted by him and therefore the petitioner is before this Court.
2. I heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials placed. Having regard to the above facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry initiated by him with respect to the complaint given by the petitioner and by considering his representation dated 24.12.2016 after giving opportunity to all parties concerned and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
