Mahender Reddy, learned counsel, entered appearance for the petitioner and the appellant. However, as he became a Government Pleader, time was sought to enable the parties to make alternative arrangements. But, no steps were taken in this regard. This Court therefore passed an order on 24.11.2014 to the effect that as a last and final opportunity the matter is adjourned by one week to enable the parties to make alternative arrangement as the present counsel has become a Government Pleader. This Court further observed that failure to do so would lead to dismissal of the matter summarily. In spite of the above observations, no steps have been taken to engage another counsel.
The writ petition and the civil miscellaneous appeals are accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
