JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to give permission to conduct cultural programme at Sree Mariamman Temple Street Public Stage in connection with the Temple Festival of Arulmigu Sree Pilavadi Amman Temple, Keezhaputhu Pattu, Tindivanam, Villupuram District, scheduled to be held on 06.06.2017, based on his representation dated 16.05.2017.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the 2nd respondent on 16.05.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 06.06.2017, the 2nd respondent has not passed orders till today.
3. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner therein and dispose of the same.
4. Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, today itself (05.06.2017).
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
