1. This writ petition is a letter sent by detenue from jail. It was said that he has completed 36 years of his life sentence and therefore, further period in jail be remitted.
2. Sri Syed Ali Murtaza, learned AGA has filed an affidavit, stating that petitioner has already been released from Central Jail, Fatehgarh on 23.11.2008, after serving out 36 years of imprisonment.
3. In the circumstances, nothing survives.
4. Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
