ORDER:
This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal arises out of order, 18.07.2009 in W.C.No.44 of 2007 on the file of the Commissioner for Workmen’s Compensation and Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Kadapa.
The Registry has placed before the Court award, dated 06.08.2014, of the Lok Adalat organised by the High Court Legal Services Committee, a perusal of which would show that respondent No.1 agreed to receive reduced compensation of Rs.2,60,000/- along with interest accrued thereon, against the awarded amount of Rs.4,10,268/-. The appellant is entitled to refund of Rs.1,50,268/-, deposited by it, along with interest accrued thereon.
The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is, accordingly, disposed of in terms of the award of the Lok Adalat.
As a sequel to disposal of the appeal, interim order, dated 20.08.2010, is vacated and CMAMP.No.1762 of 2010 is disposed of as infructuous.
