JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ext.P1 assessment order passed by the 1st respondent for the assessment year 2013-2014 is under challenge in Ext.P2 appeal pending before the 2nd respondent. Pursuant to Ext.P4 judgment passed by this Court on 16.07.2014 in W.P.(C) No.18138 of 2014, Ext.P3 petition for stay has been considered and the 2nd respondent passed Ext.P5 order on 19.09.2014 whereby the petitioner is required to satisfy 30% of the disputed liability so as to enjoy the benefit of interim stay during the pendency of appeal. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by virtue of some unforeseen circumstances the petitioner could not satisfy the condition on time and in the meanwhile the petitioner is confronted with coercive steps and hence the writ petition .
3. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
4. After hearing both the sides, this writ petition is disposed of, granting a further period of 'two weeks' to the petitioner to comply with the condition imposed as per Ext.P5, W.P.(C) No.34618 of 2014 2 subject to which the petitioner can enjoy the benefit of interim stay. The appeal shall be considered and finalised by the appellate authority as expeditiously as possible. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the concerned authority for further steps.
