Petitioner was granted distributorship in a retail dealership in ration articles bearing ARD 176 at Ward No.VIII (New Ward No. IX) in Ayyampuzha Panchayat. Ext. P1 is the said order by which he was appointed temporarily for a period from 26.10.2013 to 25.4.2014. The petitioner submits that subsequently, he was not granted the dealership. He was unable to run the same as he was not keeping well. Subsequently, the dealership was cancelled and the customers were attached to another authorised retail dealership. Petitioner claims to restore the aforesaid dealership in his name. 2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that though the petitioner was granted dealership on an ad hoc arrangement for a period of six months, several irregularities were noticed and his performance was totally unsatisfactory. Hence, the said arrangement had to be cancelled and alternate arrangements were made to cater to the needs of the customers. This was required for the uninterrupted supply of ration articles to the customers. It is further submitted that if at all the petitioner has any grievance, his remedy was to file an appeal against the order of cancellation W.P(C) No. 10302 of 2014 -: 2 :-
which he has not done.
In th aforesaid circumstances, I do not think that the petitioner is entitled to seek any relief in this writ petition . Hence, the same is dismissed.
