After hearing Mr. Thakor, the learned senior advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners and after taking into consideration the fact that this Court has already stayed the operation of clause 4.4 of the guidelines to the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 in respect of the land of the petitioner, we find that the petitioner has made out a strong prima facie case to have an interim order staying implementation, operation and execution of the impugned show cause notices dated 29th May, 2012 and 20th August, 2012, and to have further interim order restraining the respondents from taking any action pursuant to the said show cause notices. We accordingly pass such order till the next returnable date. Direct service is permitted.
