Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Corporation.
It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed in the year 1979 as Fitter in UPSRTC and after completing more than 37 years of service, he retired on 31.08.2017. The petitioner has not been given any benefit of the Assured Career Progression which is applicable to the Corporation also. The petitioner has already made a representation on 06.04.2017 to the respondent no. 3, a copy of the representation has been filed as Annexure-2 to the writ petition. Prayer has been made that at least the representation made by the petitioner be decided.
Accordingly, without entering into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the Service Manager, U.P. State Road Transport Corporation, Azamgarh Region, Azamgarh (respondent no. 3) to decide the representation dated 06.04.2017 in accordance with law by reasoned and speaking order within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him and in case certain dues are found admissible, the same may also be paid to the petitioner within the same period.
