The petitioners, who are defendants in Original Suit No.84 of 2017, claim to have served interrogatories on the plaintiffs vide application bearing Paper No.33-C (2) dated 16.11.2017. The instant petition has been filed for issuance of a direction to the trial court to decide the said application expeditiously.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the court below has already invited objections on the said application and it is being posted for disposal. However, the application has not been decided so far.
Having regard to these facts, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the trial court to decide the application expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments and preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
