Petitioner is accused in Crime No.18 of 2014 of the Kunnamangalam Excise Range Office for the offences punishable under Section 55(g) of the Abkari Act, apprehends arrest and has filed this application. 2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the application.
It is submitted that on 28.02.2014 at about 4.00 p.m. 20 litres of wash was seized from the house of the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel submitted that the allegations are not true.
4. In the nature of the allegations made, materials on record and the investigation required to be done, request for pre- arrest bail cannot be allowed. In case the petitioner is arrested she shall be produced before the jurisdictional magistrate as early as possible.
Application is disposed of as above.
