Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
Against the order dated 1.11.2017 passed by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Lalganj, District Mirzapur, the petitioner filed Appeal No. 619 of 2017 before the Commissioner, Vindhyachal Mandal, Mirzapur along with stay application on 27.12.2017. The said application has not yet been decided and is still pending.
Under these circumstances, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending.
Writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2- Commissioner, Vindhyanchal Mandal, Mirzapur to decide the stay application in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
