This petition for writ said to be filed in public interest is before us to have following reliefs:-
"I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus directing/commanding the respondent no. 2 to initiate the enquiry proceedings against the Gram Pradhan whereby irregularity and illegality has been committed by him in arbitrary manner in utilization of Gaon Sabha fund as well as construction and development work and appropriate legal action may be taken against him in accordance with law forthwith, so that justice be done.
II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus directing/commanding the respondent no. 2 to take appropriate decision on the complaint of the petitioner dated 27.03.2019 (contained as Annexure No. 2) within time bound period as may be granted by this Hon'ble Court."
The petitioner before approaching this Court submitted a representation dated 27.03.2019 to the District Magistrate, Ghazipur.
Having considered the facts stated above, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by directing the District Magistrate, Ghazipur to decide the representation referred above within a period of six weeks in accordance with law from the date the petitioner presents a certified copy of this order before him.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
