The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner and other persons, namely, Sri Rama Shanker Dixit and Sudhir Kumar were regularized vide order dated 20.12.2006 but the petitioner has been denied promotion on the post of Junior Engineer-II w.e.f. 4.6.2001 only on the ground that the services of the petitioner were not regularized when the DPC was held on 29.1.1999 whereas the above said persons have been given the said benefit From the record, it comes out that on 29.1.1999 all the said persons were not regularized and they were regularized only on 20.12.2001.
Learned Standing Counsel is directed to seek instructions as to why petitioner has been discriminated when the persons mentioned in the office order dated 20.12.2006 were regularised on the post of Junior Engineer Grade II w.e.f. 20.12.2001.
