JUDGMENT / ORDER

In the present report, the Official Liquidator (OL) has not supplied adequate details. An additional affidavit may be filed by the OL, containing the following details.
(1) Who are the members of the Purchase Committee?
(2) What is the date of the submission of the quotation? This aspect becomes relevant in order to compare the quotations with the present rates.
(3) Whether the quoted processors i.e. core 2 duo or dual core are out dated, or not?
(4) Whether the processors quoted by the vendor are available in the current rate of Contract of the Directorate General of Supplies and Disposals, which is a nodal agency of the Central Government to ease the procuring procedure to be carried out by the Department?
(5) The exact details of the strength of the staff in the office of the OL and the break-up of the number of staff members who have the requisite training to use the computers.
(6) The available quantity of Computers.
(7) The year of purchase of the Computers that are already available in the office of Official Liquidator.
(8) Whether taxes are included in the offer prices?
(9) Whether the quoted prices are under Directorate General of Supplies and Disposals Rate Contract. If so, whether any negotiations have been made for freebees that are offered by the vendor.
All these aspects may be clarified by filing an affidavit on, or before, 03.07.2012.
