JUDGMENT / ORDER

NOOTY.RAMAMOHANA RAO, J.
Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in C.No.62/G/IS/2016, dated 13.12.2016, whereby the detenu, namely P.Nagaraj, son of (late) Palanisamy, aged about 27 years, was detained under Goondas Act and confined at Central Prison, Coimbatore.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner dated 13.12.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.6469, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XII) Department dated 24.12.2016, and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
