RESPONDENTS (BY SRI.SANTOSH S NAGARALE, ADVOCATE FOR R1) THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 & 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO DIRECT THE RESPONDENT UNIVERSITY TO RECONSIDER/RE-VAULE/RE- CHECK/RE-TOTALING THE ANSWER SCRIPTS OF THE SUBJECT FORMAL LANGUAGE AND AUTOMATA THEORYU OF 5TH SEMESTER OF B.E. COURSE OF THE PETITIONER AND ANNOUNCE THE RESULT AND ETC.
THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
O R D E R The petitioner a student of B.E. Computer Science in the 4th year of the course in the 2nd respondent-College has raised the grievance as to certain answers in the answer scripts, having not been valued at all, therefore they need to be valued by the competent evaluator.
2. The learned Panel Counsel for the 1st respondent- University having appeared, has filed a Memo dated 10.01.2019 which reads as under:
“1. The above named petitioner has filed the above writ petition seeking relief for issuance of writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction directing the Respondent University to reconsider/re-value/re- check/re-totalling the answer scripts of the Subject Formal Language and Automata theory of 5th Semester of B.E. Course and announces the result and other appropriate reliefs.
2. It is humbly submitted that the on the receipt of the writ petition, it is humbly submitted that the University in order to resolve the grievance of the petitioner which has arisen has decided to provide one more evaluation in the subject Formal Languages and Automata theory of 5th Semester of B.E [Code:06CS56].
3. It is humbly submitted that on the re-evaluation of the subject Formal Language and Automata theory of 5th Semester of B.E [Code:06CS56] results of the petitioner would be announced.
WHEREFORE it is humbly prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to take the above memo on record and dispose of the writ petition in the interest of justice and equity.”
In view of this fair stand of the respondent-University in granting substantial relief to the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed off, placing the Memo on record.
Costs made easy.
