Pointing out the difficulties faced by the petitioner, his suit, O.S. 186 of 2008 on the file of the Munsiff's Court, Punalur, was transferred to Sub Court, Kottarakkara and renumbered as O.S. 216 of 2010 to be tried along with O.S.
175 of 2008. The petitioner prays that there may be a direction to the Sub Court, Kottarakkara to expedite the trial of the two suits pending before that court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the suit filed by the petitioner having been transferred from Munsiff Court, Punalur to Sub Court, Kottarakkara, he being a senior citizen is keen to have the suits disposed of. According to him, unnecessary adjournments are being given to the defendants under one pretext or another and now the respondent herein has filed an application to implead the legal heirs of one of the defendants, which is quite unnecessary.

3. Whatever that be, in the light of the fact that one of the suits is of the year 2008, it is only proper that a direction be given to Sub Court, Kottarakkara to dispose of the suits.
This Original Petition is allowed and there will be a direction to the Sub Court, Kottarakkara to take up O.S. 216 of 2010 and O.S. 175 of 2008 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment provided they are ripe for trial.
