Noormohamed vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|22 February, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Learned Advocate General has stated, under instruction, as under;
"The state Government is contemplating to revise the present guidelines contained in G.R. dated 17/12/05, G.R. Dated 18/11/09 & circular dated 2/12/09, so as to come out with revised guidelines for bringing more transparency & competitiveness & hence the guidelines contained in the said G.R. dated 17/12/05, G.R. dated 18/11/09 & circular dated 2/12/09 will not be acted upon."
Thus, in view of this, nothing survives in the matter and petition is disposed of accordingly. Notice is discharged. No costs.
Shri Mehta, learned advocate for the petitioner submitted that liberty is reserved to the petitioner to file fresh petition, in case new policy that may be promulgated is again found to be obnoxious.
The request is misconceived, as liberty is always there to file fresh petition.
