Today, when the matter is taken up, Mr.A.Manimaran, Inspector of Police, P.C.Patti Police Station is present. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), on instructions, submitted that the order dated 16.10.2015 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.20113/2015 has been complied with and the complaint given by the petitioner was enquired into and the same was closed on 25.01.2017 by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Theni Sub Division, and a copy of the closure report has also been sent to the petitioner. In support of his contention, the learned Government Advocate has produced a copy of the postal acknowledgment card. Recording the same, this petition is closed. However, another copy of the closure report has also been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.
