JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner having retired from the service of the respondent Corporation on 31.08.2013 is said to have made Exhibit P2 representation to the first respondent seeking monthly pension with arrears as well as the resultant pensionary benefits. Ventilating his grievance that the said representation has not so far been disposed of, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
WPC 31745/14 2 In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent Corporation to consider Exhibit P2 representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
