When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents produced a copy of the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Chengalpet, dated 18.07.2016, which were issued in compliance of the order under contempt. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has preferred appeal against the said proceedings of the Tahsildar. Since the order of this Court has been complied with and that appeal is also pending, nothing further survives for consideration in this Contempt Petition, which is accordingly closed.
