JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has sought for a driving licence claiming invalidity, coming to about 20% disability. The petitioner had applied for a learner's licence and obtained the same and is alleged to have filed an application for the driving licence. 2. The learned Government Pleader, however, submits that the petitioner did not appear for the test scheduled on 14.10.2009 and that alone was the reason for non- issuance of the driving licence. In any event, the learner's licence issued as early as in 2009 would not be in force now.
3. In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that, if the petitioner is still desirous of getting a driving licence, the petitioner would have to definitely make a fresh application for learner's licence and then seek for W.P.(C) No. 34691 of 2009 (F) 2 a driving licence in accordance with law. The petitioner's contentions will be left open.
The writ petition, however, would stand closed.
