Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.
This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with prayer to issue a direction to the trial Court to expedite the disposal of Case Crime No. 852 of 2007 (State Vs. Kallu and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 102 of 2001, u/s 3/5/8 of Cow Slaughter Act and 11 Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act, Police Station- Bhoganipur, District- Kanpur Dehat presently pending before the Judicial Magistrate, Bhoganipur and to decide it in a stipulated period.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant is one of the accused of the aforesaid case and the case is pending since 2001, due to which he is facing mental and physical agony and the only prayer is to issue direction for its expeditious disposal.
Expeditious disposal of the case is the right of the every litigant and it is expected from every court to dispose of the case pending before it as expeditiously as possible.
Therefore, learned trial Court is directed to make all possible efforts to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible without entertaining any unnecessary adjournments of either side, if there is no other legal impediment.
With the above direction, application filed under Section 482 is finally disposed of.
