The applicants - original accused have filed this Revision Application challenging the Judgment and order dated 17.4.2010 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Court No.18, Ahmedabad, in Criminal Case No. 651 of 2001, which has been confirmed in Appeal by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, City Sessions Court, Ahmedabad, vide order dated 25.11.2011, in Criminal No. 198 of 2010. The applicants have also prayed for bail, pending the hearing and final disposal of this application.
Heard learned Advocate Mr. Ekant Ahuja for the applicants, learned Advocate Mr. Thakkar, appearing on behalf of the respondent No.1 - complainant and learned A.P.P. Mr. Jani for the respondent No.2 - State.
Learned Advocate Mr. Ahuja states that pursuant to the order dated 2.2.2012 passed by this Court, the applicants have deposited Rs.3 lacs before the trial Court and he has also produced receipt to that effect. The same be taken on the record.
In view of above, pending the hearing and final disposal of this Revision Application, the applicants are ordered to be released on bail on furnishing personal Bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) each and a surety of like amount, and on usual terms and conditions. Bail before the trial Court.
The Revision Application is adjourned to 12th March, 2012.
