1. This petition has been filed by the petitioners alleging that both the petitioners are major as per the date of birth mentioned in the Aadhar-Card. They have married against their parents' wishes in the Arya Samaj Mandir on 09.12.2019 and have been issued a marriage certificate in this regard by the Mandir, concerned.
2. On being harassed by the family members, they have been approached the S.S.P., Muzaffar Nagar and S.H.O., P.S. Kotwali Nagar, Muzaffar Nagar, by means of filing application for protection.
3. It has been submitted that no heed has been paid to their application, hence, the need arose to file this petition.
4. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S. Kotwali Nagar, District Muzaffar Nagar who shall extend all help and protection to the petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
