JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ. By this Writ Petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to afford adequate and effective police protection for slaughtering, loading, unloading and transporting of rubber trees covered by Exts. P1 and P2 without any obstruction or hindrance from the workers of respondents 5 to 9 and their workers.
2 Learned Government Pleader submits that the work for which relief was claimed has already been over and that by efflux of time, this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
