This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer to quash the impugned FIR dated 29.11.2017 registered as Case Crime No.464 of 2017 under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 IPC and 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station Tiwaripur, District Gorakhpur.
From a perusal of the record it appears that the matter being matrimonial in nature, was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court vide order dated 22.12.2017.
The report of the Mediation and Conciliation Centre dated 2.03.2018 is on record, from which it is evident that the petitioners have not complied with the order dated 22.12.2017 by which they were required to deposit Rs.30,000/- towards the Mediation and Conciliation Centre for the mediation process, hence,the mediation has failed.
In view of the aforesaid ground, the present writ petition is dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
