Heard learned counsel for parties.
The petitioners who are Asha Workers challenge an order of termination. Learned counsel for the petitioner candidly admits that the petitioner did not hold a civil post and their engagement was purely contractual. It is further conceded that the terms and conditions of their service are not governed by statute.
In view of the aforesaid and bearing in mind the decision of the Supreme Court in Ramkrishna Mission And Another v. Kago Kunya And Others [(2019) 16 SCC 303] and the decision rendered by the Full Bench of the Court in Roychan Abraham v. State of U.P. and Others [2019 (3) ADJ 391 (FB)], the Court finds no ground to issue the writs as prayed for.
Consequently, the writ petition fails and is dismissed.
