JUDGMENT / ORDER

MP.No.1 of 2015 is filed to condone the delay of 21 days in filing the above main Civil Revision Petition as against the order passed by the Appellate Authority in a rent control proceedings.
2. Revision against the order passed by the Appellate Authority has to be preferred within 30 days. However with the discretion of the Court, a further time of one month can be allowed, if it is satisfied that the applicant had sufficient cause for not preferring the application within the time prescribed. The present Revision is filed against the order dated 10.04.2015 passed by the Appellate Authority and a copy of which was furnished on 04.07.2015. The revision ought to have been filed within the period of limitation provided under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, 1960.
3. The revision petition is filed beyond the period of limitation. Therefore, MP.No.1 of 2015 to condone the delay of 21 days which is calculated wrong, in filing the above main Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the Civil Revision Petition is rejected at the SR stage itself. No costs.
