Pursuant to liberty granted in terms of earlier orders, learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions which are taken on record and marked as 'X' for the purposes of identification. These instructions disclose that the results which were initially declared on 04 April 2016 were revised and amended on 20 April 2016. As per these results, the last cut off prescribed was 57.00 whereas the petitioner could obtain only 50.00 marks.
Consequently and in light of the disclosures as made by the respondents, no cause arises for issuance of the writs as prayed for.
Writ petition is dismissed.
