Petitioners by means of the representations have made a prayer that they be allowed to cultivate the land in question which admittedly as per the petitioners' own saying belongs to the Forest Department.
We do not know any provision of law wherein the forest land can be given to the petitioners.
The submission that the petitioners in the past were allowed to cultivate the said land is of no significance as petitioners have not referred to any provision of law or any Government Order in that regard.
The writ petition as such deserves to be dismissed and it is, accordingly, dismissed.
