State of Karnataka By Anti Corruption Bureau Kodagu District Represented by Special Public Prosecutor Khanija Bhavan Race Course Road Bengaluru – 560 001 ...Respondent (By Sri B.N.Jagadeesha, Advocate) This Criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to quash the FIR in Crime No.3/2017 on the file of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Madikeri (and on the file of the learned Hon’ble District Sessions and Special Court, Madikeri, Kodagu District) for the offences punishable under Section 13(1)(e) read with Section 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
This Criminal petition coming on for admission this day, the Court made the following:
ORDER Learned Senior Counsel appearing for petitioners seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the petition with liberty to challenge the proceedings initiated against petitioners if need be, at a later stage i.e., on completion of investigation and in the event of charge sheet being filed. His submission is placed on record.
Hence, petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty as sought for granted. No opinion is expressed on merits of the case.
