ORDER:
Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.5.
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of Respondent No.5 in not receiving the complaint of the petitioner dated 14.5.2008 and not acting upon it.
This Court by order dated 21.05.2008 directed the fifth respondent to receive the complaint dated 14.05.2008 and take appropriate action as per law.
Learned Government Pleader appearing for Respondent No.5 submits that pursuant to the said interim order, the complaint of the petitioner was received and a case in Crime No. 130 of 2008 was registered and in view thereof, no further orders are necessary.
As the fifth respondent has received the complaint and a crime has been registered thereon, nothing remains for consideration and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
The Writ Petition is therefore dismissed as having become infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
