Nilesh vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|10 May, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

By this petition which has been filed through jail authority, the petitioner seeks parole for a period of thirty days with a view to engage an advocate for preferring an appeal against the judgement and order dated 15.12.2011 passed by the sessions court whereby, he has been convicted for the offence punishable under section 304(II) IPC.
A perusal of the jail record shows that the recently from 17.4.2012 to 30.4.2012, the petitioner had been granted furlough. Under the circumstances, the petitioner could have done the needful for engaging an advocate at the relevant time.
Under the circumstances, no case is made out for the grant of the relief prayed for in the petition. The petition is, accordingly, summarily rejected.
