Heard Mr.M.D.Rana, learned advocate for the petitioner. It is submitted by him that in spite of the Labour Court having passed an award dated 27.07.2011 in favour of the petitioner, directing the respondent Municipality to reinstate him with 10% back-wages and continuity of service, the respondent Municipality is not reinstating the petitioner. The petitioner has written a letter dated 06.08.2011 to the Chief Officer of the respondent Municipality regarding his reinstatement, that has remained unresponded. It is further submitted that the award in question has been challenged by the respondent Municipality by filing a writ petition, that has been dismissed.
The learned advocate for the petitioner has placed reliance upon the following unreported judgments :
