The sole grievance of the petitioner is that the Election Petition being Case No. T202115060103671 of 2021, under Section 12(c) of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, was not being decided and, therefore, a prayer for a direction has been made that the case be decided expeditiously within a stipulated period of time.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the contesting respondent had appeared and had also filed her written statement in the case.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid Case.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is being directed that the Case No. T202115060103671 of 2021, under Section 12(c) of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, be decided within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order unless there is any legal impediment. Copy of this order would be duly certified by the petitioner's counsel.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
