Grievance of the petitioners is that the application dated 28.9.2020 for conversion of bhumidhari with non-transferable rights to bhumidhari with transferable rights was pending and, therefore, a prayer for a direction has been made that the application be decided expeditiously within a stipulated period of time.
Learned Standing Counsel stated that all endeavour shall be made to decide the application.
Under such circumstances, within going into the merits of the case, it is being directed that the application dated 28.9.2020 pending before the respondent no. 3 be decided within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order, unless there is any legal impediment.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
