This Criminal Petition is filed to quash F.I.R. in Crime No. 53 of 2011 on the file of Malakpet Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for offences under section 420, 406, 506 of IPC and 156 (3) Cr.P.C.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Advocate for petitioner submitted that notice is sent to second respondent/defacto complainant but acknowledgement is not yet received.
4. Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that police have completed investigation and filed final report treating the case as “closed” due to lack of evidence.
5. As seen from the final report copy produced by prosecution, Sub-Inspector of Police has already filed final report before the court concerned on 06/02/2012.
6. In view of filing final report referring the case as lack of evidence, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
