Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"i) issue a writ, order or direction including a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the expedite the Case No. that it is submitted here that the 20151436014183 under Section 34/40 of U.P. Land Revenue Code 2006 is being pending before the Tehsildar, Tehsil Shahganj, District Jaunpur."
It is stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since the year 2015 before the Tehsildar, Tehsil Shahganj, District Jaunpur.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Tehsildar, Tehsil Shahganj, District Jaunpur to endeavour to decide the case of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
