The petitioner is a female Constable in U.P. Police and is posted at Moradabad. Her husband is also in U.P. Police and is working at Meerut. In terms of the transfer policy of the State dated 29.03.2018, petitioner had already represented for posting in the same station where her husband is posted. Such application has not been considered so far, and therefore, petitioner is before this Court.
Learned standing counsel submits that petitioner's claim shall be considered by the competent authority in terms of the transfer policy.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, noticed above, this petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to represent in the matter before the respondent no. 2 annexing all material in support of her claim, along with certified copy of this order, within two weeks from today. In case such representation is made, the same shall be dealt with in terms of the transfer policy within a further period of two months, thereafter.
