Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to direct to court below to expedite the trial proceedings of Criminal Case No. 62 of 2018 (State Vs. Shailendra and another) arises out of case crime no. 355 of 2017, under sections 452, 323, 376/511, 504 , 506 IPC, P.S. Bharthana, District Etawah pending in the court of A.C.J.M. Court no. 1, Etawah expeditiously preferably within stipulated period.
Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the aforementioned case is pending since the year 2018. The only prayer made by the applicant is to give direction to the court below to gear up the proceeding.
Keeping in view that the matter relates to the year 2018, I hereby direct the learned A.C.J.M. Court no. 1, Etawah to gear up the matter and make necessary endeavour to conclude the proceeding expeditiously if possible within 18 months without giving unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
With the aforesaid directions, this 482 Cr.P.C. application is finally disposed of.
