JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner, a teacher of an aided school, has filed this writ petition challenging Ext.P4 order passed by the Manager placing her under suspension. 2. The records disclose that the petitioner was initially placed under suspension by Ext.P1 order dated 5.12.2013 for a period of 15 days. The Assistant Educational Officer, Vadakara conducted a preliminary investigation into the grounds of suspension and issued Ext.P2 order dated 19.12.2013 permitting the Manager to continue the suspension beyond the period of 15 days. The Manager thereupon issued Ext.P3 letter dated 20.12.2013 extending the suspension for a further period of 90 days. Still later, he issued Ext.P4 letter dated 18.3.2014 continuing the suspension indefinitely. The petitioner thereupon moved the Assistant Educational Officer, Vadakara by submitting Ext.P5 representation wherein she sought revocation of the order of suspension. The instant writ petition was thereupon filed on 3.4.2014 challenging Ext.P4 and seeking a direction to the Assistant Educational Officer, Vadakara to review the W.P.(C) No.9994/2014 2 order placing the petitioner under suspension.
2. When the writ petition came up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the order passed by the District Educational Officer on 30.05.2014, the Manager has reinstated the petitioner in service and in such circumstances, no further orders are called for in this writ petition.
The aforesaid submission is recorded and the writ petition is closed as infructuous with the observation that the issue regarding regularisation of the period of suspension is kept open to be decided at a later stage in other appropriate proceedings.
