THIS APPEAL COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY,
CHIEF JUSTICE DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:
JUDGMENT The learned counsel appearing for the appellant states that though the appellant is accepting the correctness of the order dated 26th June 2019 passed by the Debts Recovery Tribunal II, extension of time be granted by one month to pay the two installments of Rs.6,00,000/-.
2. The said prayer is opposed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
3. As the learned counsel appearing for the appellant has accepted the correctness of the order dated 26th June 2019, the prayer for extension of time by one month deserves to be accepted.
4. Accordingly, we dispose of the appeal by passing the following order:
(i) The time granted till 10th July 2019 to pay a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- in terms of Clause (a) of paragraph 4 of the order dated 26th June 2019 is extended till 23rd August 2019 and the time granted till 25th July 2019 to pay a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- in terms of Clause (a) of paragraph 4 of the said order is extended till 23rd September 2019;
(ii) The rest of the impugned order dated 26th June 2019 remains undisturbed;
(iii) We make it clear that no further extension of time will be granted.
The pending interlocutory application does not survive and are accordingly disposed of.
