Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents.
Present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents no. 2 and 3 to remove the respondent no. 4 (Amarjeet) from the post of Village Pradhan situated at Village Shahraja, Block Pawai, Post Mahul Tehsil Phulpur, district Azamgarh and to take legal action against the respondent no. 4 in accordance with law and also direct the respondent no. 2 to decide the representation filed by the petitioner dated 31.8.2018 (Annexure-4) expeditiously within a stipulated period.
Pursuant to the order dated 20.12.2018 learned Standing Counsel has produced a copy of the instructions, which is taken on record.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition.
Prayer aforesaid is granted.
This writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to costs.
