Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed to direct the court below to decide the Criminal Revision No. 39 of 2021 (Nisha Sahu Vs. State and others) to expedite the proceeding of Case Crime No.585 of 2020, under Section 376D, 323, 120-B IPC, Police Station-Ecotex-3 District- Gautam Budh Nagar pending in the Court of learned District & Sessions Judge, Gautam Budh Nagar.
Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the aforementioned case is pending since the year 2020. The only prayer made by the applicant is to give direction to the court below to gear up the trial.
Keeping in view that the matter relates to the year 2020, I hereby direct the learned District & Sessions Judge, Gautam Budh Nagar. to gear up the matter and make necessary endeavour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible without giving unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
With the aforesaid directions, this 482 Cr.P.C. application is finally disposed of.
