Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition reads thus:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari calling for the record of the case and quash the impugned first information report dated 24.10.2017 in Case Crime no. 541 of 2017 under Sections 498-A,323, 504, 506, 376 I.P.C. read with Section 3/4 D.P. Act, P.S. Sasani Gate, District Aligarh, (Annexure No. 1 to W.P.)"
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 bearing no. 67/2018 dated 13.04.2018, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
