ORDER:
Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
This Writ Petition was filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and release layout permission to the petitioners in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.24.12 gts comprised in Sy.Nos.114, 114/AA, 115,115/EE,116, 116/EE, 177, 117/EE, 118, 118/E, 119, 119/E, 121 and 121/AA of Hyderguda village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District without insisting for No Objection Certificate under the provisions of the A.P. Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non-agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006 ( for short ‘the Act’).
This Court by order dated 14.10.2008 directed the first respondent to release the draft layout without insisting production of No Objection Certificate under the provisions of the Act subject to the petitioners giving an undertaking that in the event of their failing in the writ petition, they shall pay the requisite fee as provided under the Act.
It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioners that pursuant to the said order, tentative layout was released and houses were also constructed in the said land. He further submitted that the petitioners have submitted representation on 06.08.2014 for release of the final layout and the said representation is pending consideration.
Since the respondents have not filed counter affidavit even after lapse of six years, this Writ Petition is disposed of in view of the interim order passed by this Court on 14.10.2008 and consequential release of tentative layout in favour of the petitioners, holding that no further orders are required to be passed in the Writ Petition.
In view thereof, the Writ Petition is closed. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
